Digital Experience + Brand Development + Customer Experience + Entrepreneurship
Building Ideas. Brands. And a Business.
Turning creative thinking into customer solutions while building and leading an independent creative and digital business.
Founder + Chief Creative Officer
Jan. 2004 - Sep. 2016
The Beginning
Sometimes the best way to learn business is to build one.
Allusive Art began as an opportunity to turn creative capability into something larger: an independent business built around helping organizations communicate, engage customers and bring ideas to life.
As Founder and Chief Creative Officer, I was responsible for much more than the creative work. Building the business required developing client relationships, understanding customer needs, creating solutions, leading creative talent, managing delivery and continually earning the next opportunity.
Over more than a decade, that experience gave me an early understanding of the relationship between creativity, customer needs, execution and commercial results—and established an entrepreneurial mindset that continues to influence how I approach transformation today.

My Entrepreneurial Mindset
An idea only matters if you can make it work.
Building Allusive Art taught me that creativity isn't simply about producing something different. It is the ability to understand a problem, see possibilities others may not, turn an idea into something tangible and create enough value that someone wants to work with you again.
Client Experience
Different industries. Different challenges. One common objective: create something that matters.
Working across organizations and industries exposed me to different customers, business models and challenges—and taught me how to quickly understand a problem before developing the solution.
What Entrepreneurship Taught Me
Own the Outcome
When your name is on the business, there is nowhere for accountability to hide.
Listen Before Creating
The best idea isn't necessarily the most creative one. It's the one that solves the right problem.
Adapt Constantly
Clients change. Technology changes. Markets change. Successful businesses learn and evolve with them.
Relationships Matter
Great work may open a door. Trust and consistent delivery are what keep it open.
My Perspective
Building Allusive Art taught me to approach problems with curiosity, challenge assumptions and turn ideas into something tangible.
Years later, the context has changed—from brands and digital experiences to retirement strategy, AI and enterprise transformation—but the underlying approach hasn't.
Understand the problem. Challenge the obvious.
Connect the pieces. Build something better.
